Part 2 of my book is 'the beginner's guide' that will walk you through the meat and potatoes of options trading and reading stock charts.

I recommend new traders do 2 things before they trade with real money:

This is a surefire way to get tunnel visioned on your ‘profit & loss’, and ultimately…

…overtrade, over-leverage, and wipe yourself out.

$6k to $10k is what I recommend having in your trading account before entering trades. Here’s why 👇

Many think they can start trading with $100, but this creates more problems than it solves.

Here’s a fundamental truth:

In the beginning you’re more at risk of wiping out your account than when you have skills, time and experience on your side.

I think we can agree on that.

So as you begin risking real money, you need to be able to risk as little as possible (1% of your account).

1% of $100 is $1…you can’t do anything with that.

Even if you told yourself you’d exit a $100 trade once it went against you by $1…

…many don’t have the discipline to exit, but even worse…

…now you’re trading your ‘profit & loss’ and not the chart.

$60 is the max risk you’ll take on the smallest position size using my strategy.

$60 is 1% of $6000 (but $10k will give you more breathing room).

Ultimately, all you need is a computer or a Smartphone to complete the book & put what you learn into action!

The specific trading platform I talk about in the book is the thinkorswim® trading platform with a Charles Schwab brokerage account.

It’s free, but you have to be a US resident.

If you live outside of the US, everything I teach is adaptable to your platform because I don’t just give you the steps, I give you the principles behind them.

YouTube is an incredible resource. I’ve personally spent thousands of hours learning from it.

But only 10% of what I learned was good enough to become a daily practice and help me become consistently profitable.
